This beautiful cameo was carved from a photograph of a young daughter for a family in London, England, UK. I was sent a number of photos and we selected this image as the best to use for the carving. I carved the portrait onto a white on blue layered agate stone using diamond tools.

The finished portrait cameo was set into an 18 kt white gold setting. I hand engraved a personal message around the sides of the frame. I made the setting dual purpose. The jewel can be worn as a cameo brooch or as a cameo pendant.

The mother was delighted to receive the cameo which was a gift from her husband for Christmas.
